Connemara Cooks brings the kitchen to your holiday rental. For over twenty years I've cooked for self-catering guests across Connemara and County Galway, cooking in rentals like Sunnybank House out near the lakes: a dinner party at the table, a buffet for a full house, or food dropped in ready to serve.

I cater private evenings at home too, for birthdays, anniversaries and family gatherings. Whatever the occasion, I cook everything from fresh, local ingredients, shape the menu around your night, and leave the kitchen exactly as I found it.

You sit back, relax, and enjoy the day.

I'm Dóirín. I created Connemara Cooks over 20 years ago. Since then, cooking for dinner parties or larger groups, whether in their own homes or on self-catering holidays, has become second nature to me.

I trained at the Cordon Bleu and have been cooking ever since, with a soft spot for cuisines from further afield, Asian flavours especially. I love to use fresh produce, locally sourced meat, fish and seafood from the Irish coast. All my stocks are homemade. Nothing comes from a packet or jar.

Cooking for people in their own homes is the part I love most.
